Happy Anniversary!!!!

Tomorrow marks 7 years of marriage for Scott and I. It's kinda unbelievable how fast these few years have gone by. When I think back, I get lost in my feelings of nostalgia about our wedding day! I remember every minute. I loved every second! It was one of the sweetest days of my life. I walked down the aisle into the arms of the man God had chosen for me to spend my life with! He has loved me better than I deserve. He has treated me like a princess from the get-go. He has walked with me through some of the most difficult times of my life, and never once let go of my hand. He is my precious gift from the Father. He makes me laugh harder and more often than I should probably! He is the best daddy on the planet! He is a picture of who Christ is for me and our children. He knows me better than any other human being, and despite that, he chooses to love me! He is MY precious husband, and I look forward to spending the rest of my life with this wonderful man! Happy Anniversary Scott!

Come running home

These are the lyrics to this song I stumbled on. Many of you may know teh song, but most of you live it like me too! You can click to listen to it or just read it.
Scott

Oh heart of mine, why must you stray?
From one so fair you run away
And one more time you have to pay
The heaviness of needless shame

Oh heart of mine, come back home
You've been too long out on your own
And He's been there all along
Watching for you down the road

So come home running
His arms are open wide
His name is Jesus
He understands
He is the answer
You are looking for
So come home running
Just as you are

Oh child of God so dearly loved
And ransomed by the Savior's blood
And called by name, daughter and son
Wrapped in the robe of righteousness

I wonder what I would have said???

I have been reading through Luke with new eyes I feel. The gospel of Jesus is taking a whole new perspective as I see our Lord loving people, stopping to serve them, to heal them, to save them. I see so much more than the theology of a message in the Lord but the sincerity of the deliverer of what is said and what is done. Anyway I came to this passage Luke 7:22 And he answered them, "Go and tell John what you have seen and heard: the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, the poor have good news preached to them. It almost seems to crescendo right. Blind see, walking lame, clean lepers, people who were de alive and last but not least...the poor have the good news preached to them! i think all would jump out but as i got the message back from my friends...the gospel going to the poor maybe the last for a reason! Jesus painted a picture of love that still blows me away from being cleaned by a prostitutes tears to seeing the centurions faith, I am countlessly reminded of what a great Lord we serve who is Mighty to save!
